It has been 10 years since the first tirage of sparkling wine in Midalidare. A decade of hard work and constant development. The road to perfection is long, but we have taken the direction with confidence, driven by a passion and desire to create the best we are capable of. And with each harvest, with each tirage, we are getting better and better.
Our sparkling wines achieved outstanding results on their 10th birthday! On November 2nd, at the official ceremony of The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships 2023 in London UK, our pearls was awarded four gold and six silver medals, two Best in Class trophy and a National Champion trophy.

We are looking forward to expanding our sparkling portfolio with Midalidare Pas Dose NV (Brut Nature; Zero Dosage), Blanc de Blancs style, awarded silver medal in 2020 by CSWWC. The wine will be officially presented at DiVino.Taste 2023 in December.
Our sparkling wines were presented on the market in 2018 and the first recognition followed in the year after, both locally and internationally. Vintage after vintage we are getting better. In just 5 years, 5 "National Champion" and a "World Champion Blanc de Blancs" titles were won, along with 9 "Best in Class" trophies, 2 titles “Best Bulgarian sparkling wine”, 1 title “Best Bulgarian wine”, 11 gold and 21 silver medals. The winery was awarded "Rising Star" and "Chairman's Trophy" from the most prestigious international competition "The Champagne and Sparkling Wines World Championships".
The first tirage of "Midalidare Sparkling" project took place in 2014, for Midalidare Deluxe Brut NV (at that time named Midalidare Sparkling Brut NV). The year after Midalidare Blanc de Blancs Brut NV followed. Midalidare Reserve Brut NV and Midalidare Premier Extra Brut NV were presented in 2020, both made from the best Chardonnay selection. Last was Midalidare Rose Extra Brut NV – the first sparkling rose made from the three approved varieties in Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. All five wines are styled Blanc de Blancs and Rose, with sweetness scale Brut and Extra Brut. A specially designed Sparkling winery was built and is operational from August 2022. The facility shelters the whole process of traditional sparkling winemaking and is a part of the wine tour.
We will celebrate the New 2024 year accompanying by our Pas Dose and we will keep going ahead on the road to perfection!
